Jobs prospects in Phoenix are strong, reports the Arizona Workforce Informer. In 2004, Phoenix had 59,025 engineering jobs, but is predicted to bump up 16.5 percent to 68,769 by 2013. Civil engineering technicians are expected to increase by 23.8 percent during the time period, a growth of 398 jobs. Electrical and electronic technician engineers will also experience a healthy 14.9 percent growth by 2013, enlarging its work force by 1,104 jobs.
